This Privacy Policy describes how Praxon ("Praxon," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit praxon.dev (the "Site") or otherwise interact with us. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use the Site.

1. Information We Collect

We collect a limited amount of information necessary to operate the Site and respond to inquiries. We have designed the Site to minimize data collection.

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

We collect information you voluntarily provide when you:

• Contact us by email. When you email hello@praxon.dev, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any attachments you send.
• Book a discovery call. When you book a call through our scheduling provider (Cal.com), we receive your name, email address, and any information you provide in scheduling form fields, such as project description, company name, and timezone.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, the following information may be collected automatically:

• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. These logs are retained by the hosting provider for security and operational purposes.
• Analytics. We may use a privacy-respecting analytics service (such as Plausible Analytics or Vercel Analytics) that does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. Aggregated, anonymized data such as page views, referrers, and approximate country of origin may be collected. No individual user is identified.

1.3 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking pixels. The Site may use strictly necessary cookies for basic operational purposes (such as security or load balancing) set by the hosting provider. Such cookies do not require consent under most privacy regulations.

If we add any non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide an appropriate consent mechanism.

1.4 Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

• Payment card information through the Site (any future payments will be processed by a separate payment provider with its own privacy policy);
• Social Security numbers, government-issued identification numbers, or financial account numbers;
• Health, biometric, or genetic information;
• Information from social media accounts (the Site does not integrate with social media platforms);
• Precise geolocation data.

2. How We Use Information

We use information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiries and communications;
• Schedule and conduct discovery calls;
• Send you a proposal or follow-up communications related to your inquiry;
• Operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
• Detect, prevent, and address security incidents, fraud, or abuse;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not use information we collect for advertising, marketing to third parties, or automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects.

3. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA and UK Visitors)

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

4.1 Service Providers

We share the following categories of personal information with the following service providers for the business purposes indicated:

• Vercel (hosting and infrastructure): IP addresses, request logs, browser/device identifiers, and any information you submit through the Site, for the purpose of serving the Site and protecting it from abuse.
• Cal.com (call scheduling): name, email address, and scheduling preferences, for the purpose of booking discovery calls.
• Resend or comparable transactional email service (email delivery, if used): name, email address, and message content, for the purpose of delivering email you have requested or that we send in response to your inquiry.
• Plausible Analytics, Vercel Analytics, or comparable privacy-respecting analytics provider (anonymized usage analytics): anonymized page view data and aggregate device/browser type. No personal information is shared with the analytics provider.

These providers process information only as necessary to provide their services and are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.

4.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to:

• Comply with a legal obligation;
• Protect and defend the rights or property of Praxon;
• Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Site;
• Protect the personal safety of users of the Site or the public;
• Protect against legal liability.

4.3 Business Transfers

If Praxon is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or other business transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

• Email communications: Retained for up to seven (7) years for business and tax record purposes, then deleted.
• Discovery call records: Retained for up to two (2) years after the call, then deleted unless the inquiry resulted in an executed engagement.
• Server logs and analytics data: Retained according to the retention schedules of our hosting and analytics providers, typically 30–90 days.

You may request earlier deletion at any time by contacting hello@praxon.dev. We will honor such requests except to the extent we are legally required or permitted to retain certain information.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. We honor the following rights for all visitors regardless of jurisdiction:

6.1 Universal Rights

• Access: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal information.
• Objection: You may object to our processing of your personal information.
• Withdrawal of consent: You may withdraw consent for processing based on consent at any time.

6.2 California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including:

• Right to know: The right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell or share.
• Right to delete: The right to request deletion of personal information we have collected from you.
• Right to correct: The right to request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Right to opt out of sale or sharing: We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is therefore nothing to opt out of, but you may confirm this status by contacting us.
• Right to limit use of sensitive personal information: We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information as defined by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), as amended effective January 1, 2026. The amended definition of sensitive personal information includes personal information of consumers under 16. We do not direct the Site or our services to consumers under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from consumers under 16. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a consumer under 16, we will delete it.
• Right to non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights.

In the past twelve (12) months, we have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email address), internet or other electronic network activity (IP address, browser type, pages visited), and geolocation data limited to approximate country (no precise location). We have not sold or shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6.3 EEA, UK, and Swiss Residents (GDPR / UK GDPR)

In addition to the universal rights above, residents of the EEA, UK, and Switzerland have:

• Right to data portability: The right to receive your personal information in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
• Right to restrict processing: The right to request restriction of how we process your personal information.
• Right to lodge a complaint: The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country of residence.

6.4 Other US State Rights

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (including but not limited to Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Tennessee, Indiana, and Delaware) have rights similar to those described above, including the right to access, delete, correct, and opt out of certain processing. 6.5 How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any rights under this Privacy Policy, email hello@praxon.dev with a description of your request. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (typically 30–45 days). We may require you to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may require verification that the agent has been authorized to act on your behalf.

7. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls on internal systems, and use of reputable service providers with their own security programs.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You acknowledge that you provide information to us at your own risk.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under thirteen (13) years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to us, contact hello@praxon.dev and we will take appropriate steps to delete the information.

For California residents under sixteen (16), we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

9. International Data Transfers

Praxon is located in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. The data protection laws of the United States may differ from those of your country of residence.

For transfers from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland to the United States, we rely on appropriate safeguards including the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, where applicable, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

By using the Site, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.

10. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services not operated by Praxon. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you visit. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.

11. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. Because there is no industry standard for how to respond to DNT signals, we do not currently respond to them. The Site does not engage in cross-site tracking that would make DNT signals meaningful.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on the Site with an updated "Effective date." Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Effective date" at the top of this Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the Site after such changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

We will review this Privacy Policy at least annually as required by applicable law.
